HOW TEDx WORKS
The Engine Behind the Ideas
TEDx events are fully self-organised and run by volunteers under licence from TED.
This means:
- We curate our own speakers and themes
- We create independently developed programming
- We follow TED’s standards to ensure high-quality, idea-focused content
- All talks are recorded and, where approved, shared on the TEDx YouTube channel for global audiences
TED empowers communities like ours to host meaningful events that amplify ideas and drive connection.

Sanja Hendrick
Head of Speaker Training and Support
Sanja the founder of Talent Academy, an award winning public speaking coach, and is thrilled to see TEDx return to South Australia. She is proud to be part of the Victor Harbor team, leading the speakers team. Having volunteered with six TEDx conferences so far, she is passionate about TED’s ethos that ‘Ideas Change Everything.’ Sanja is eager to help speakers share their world-changing ideas with the community.
Marissa Hankinson
Head of Curation
Marissa is an innovative entrepreneur & engaging communicator with over 30 years’ experience, driving positive change through inspiring conversations, diverse perspectives & community-focused initiatives. She is excited to be part of a global movement that celebrates ‘ideas worth spreading’, and to help curate a unique TEDx experience that sparks curiosity, creativity, and connection in our vibrant Fleurieu community.
Georgi Roberts
Head of Marketing
Georgi is the owner of Pitstop Marketing, an award winning Marketing agency based in Adelaide. She has over 25 years of marketing experience and can’t wait to bring the world to TEDxVictor Harbor.
Georgi currently works with businesses on the Fleurieu Peninsula and can’t wait to bring the speakers to the TEDx Community around the world.
Audrey Muliva
Head of Events & Volunteers
Audrey is a certified digital wellness educator and keynote speaker with program/event management experience at Speakers Institute, backed by a prior corporate manufacturing leadership career. She’s passionate about helping leaders adopt AI in a healthy, human-centred way. A new Fleurieu local, Audrey is a self-labelled south Adelaidean, seventeen years and counting, despite the giveaway French accent. She spent seven years volunteering as leader of the SA Speakers Tribe, and is excited to bring that community and events background to TEDxVictor Harbor, supporting the main event and volunteer team.
Dan Aubin
Head of Creative
Dan Aubin is a communication specialist, keynote speaker, coach and founder of Daring Humans. His career has taken him from elite gymnastics and stages around the world to university lecture theatres, boardrooms and the TEDx stage. He even stunt doubled for Mark Wahlberg. Today, Dan helps people think strategically, communicate for connection and bring important ideas to life.
